General Terms and Conditions of Sale

(hereinafter referred to as "the Gallery")

 

Article 1 - Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all sales concluded by REVEL ART DESIGN, operating under the trade name Galerie REVEL, whether via its website or during exhibitions. Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

 

Article 2 - Products

Galerie REVEL offers for sale original artworks, limited editions, and art objects. Each piece is described with care and accompanied by representative visuals. Works are sold subject to availability. The gallery reserves the right to cancel an order in case of simultaneous sale at a physical exhibition.

 

Article 3 - Price Revisions

Prices of artworks are subject to change at any time without notice. The applicable price is the one in effect at the time of order validation.

 

Article 4 - Orders

Orders can be placed online or directly with the gallery. An order is considered final upon receipt of full payment. The gallery reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a prior dispute with the customer.

 

Article 5 - Order Confirmation

The gallery commits to confirming the order within 3 business days after receiving payment.

 

Article 6 - Payment Deadline

If payment is not received within 5 business days of the order, the order will be automatically cancelled.

 

Article 7 - Prices and Payment Terms

Prices are indicated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT), unless otherwise specified. Payments can be made by bank transfer or secure credit card. Delivery costs may apply depending on the destination and are specified prior to final order confirmation.

 
Article 8 - Quotation-Based Shipping

Shipping fees are quoted based on the destination and the specific characteristics of the artwork. These fees are communicated prior to final order confirmation.

 

Article 9 - In-Gallery Pickup

Customers may pick up their order directly at the gallery by appointment and after confirmation of availability.

 

Article 10 - Delivery and Insurance

Artworks are shipped within 3 to 5 business days after receipt of full payment. Deliveries are handled by specialized carriers and fully insured (ad valorem) for the full value of the artwork. Delivery times vary depending on the destination.

 

Article 11 - Taxes and Customs Duties

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, local taxes and/or import fees may be required upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to check with local authorities before ordering. The gallery shall not be held liable for any delays, rejections, or seizures by customs.

 

Article 12 - Receipt of Works

The customer is required to check the condition of the package upon receipt. In case of damage, a written complaint with photos must be sent to the gallery within 48 hours. The gallery is insured for transport-related incidents.

 

Article 13 - Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, customers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of receipt. This right does not apply to personalized or custom-made artworks. If a return is approved, the refund will be made within 14 days via the original payment method.

 

Article 14 - Exceptional Returns

Returns are only accepted under the conditions provided in Article 13, unless expressly agreed otherwise by the gallery. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Article 15 - Retention of Title

Ownership of the artworks is only transferred to the customer once full payment has been effectively received by the gallery.

 

Article 16 - Liability

The gallery cannot be held liable for indirect damages or inappropriate use of the artworks. Liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the artwork.

 
Article 17 - Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights remain the full property of the artist. Purchasing an artwork does not grant any rights of reproduction, representation, or commercial exploitation.

 

Article 18 - Certificate of Authenticity

Each artwork sold is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist or the gallery.

 

Article 19 - Personal Data

Data collected by the gallery is treated confidentially and in accordance with the GDPR. It is used solely to process orders and manage customer relations. The gallery does not share data with third parties without consent.

 

Article 20 - Force Majeure

The gallery shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance of its obligations due to force majeure (natural disasters, logistical disruptions, conflicts, strikes, pandemics, etc.).

 

Article 21 - Governing Law - Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts. Failing amicable resolution, the courts under the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal shall have sole competence.
