Rocio Navarro (Chihuahua, México 1991) is an artist based in Toulouse, France. Through vivid coloured portraits she unravels experiences lived between two nations. Plants and everyday objets accompany her subjects, which she portrays in determined quiet action surrounded by blocks of colours. Often with humour her work explores highlights in the mundane.
Her work was included in exhibitions at La Varangue, Vic Fezensac, France; Galerie d'Art Insolitudes, Pau, France; and at Les Milles Tiroirs, Pamiers, France.
