Flore SIGRIST, 39 years old Franco-Switzerland, is a contemporary artist of international renown, revealed in 1995 during her first auction at SOTHEBY’S in Monaco at the age of 10. Ranked second in the world for artists under 30 in 2012 by Artprice, Flore was nominated by Forbes USA in 2014 in the list of « 30 under 30 art and style ».
Known for her lyrical abstract expressionist paintings, in 2018, Flore presented her first monumental sculpture « Barbie Flore » at the Industrie Magnifique in Place Kléber in Strasbourg.
On June 20, 2019, Flore enters the Musée MMM (Musée Mer Marine), by Norbert FRADIN, in Bordeaux with a 2m50 sculpture « Barbie Sirène Coline » and a sea of 60 mermaids to celebrate Barbie Mattel’s 60th birthday. Flore also presents monumental paintings in the permanent exhibition Paradoxes dedicated to contemporary art.
